What is the Subaru Love Promise?

The Subaru Love Promise is just that. A promise. It is a promise to do right by our community by partnering with nonprofit education, health, community, environment, and animal organizations - to set Subaru apart through our deeds and the deeds of our partners. To be unlike any other car company by doing what is right and good, just for the sake of doing it.

The Love Promise starts with Subaru of America

We at Subaru of America stay true to the Love Promise by partnering with a wide variety of nonprofits and charities. In addition to these partnerships, every year Subaru, our owners, and our retailers join hands in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to charities across the country. Over the past 20 years, Subaru of America has donated over 50 million dollars to causes we care about, and logged over 28,000 volunteer hours.

All of the organizations we support have one thing in common: the unwavering dedication to improve the world and the lives of its people.

Taste of Compassion proved to be another great success in support of the Asheville Humane Society, and the amazing work they do here in Western North Carolina! It was a phenomenal event once again filled with good people, good music, and goodwill united under one roof in support of a truly great organization. We really believe in the passionate work of AHS and are excited to see the continued support and growing success of Taste of Compassion! The Live Auction of our 2015 Lapis Blue Outback closed at $29,000, with all proceeds going to the Asheville Humane Society.

In the wake of winning his new Subaru and after some reflection, our Charitable Winner decided to double down on goodwill. A name had popped into his mind earlier that night - that name was Quita - and while the Asheville Humane Society received the proceeds from the auctioned Subaru, Quita Mazzina of Humane Alliance Spay/Neuter Clinic here in Asheville is now a proud new Subaru owner, joining the family in a 2015 Outback!

Our Charitable Winner had heard of their need for a new capable vehicle, and in an amazing philanthropic win-win, filled that need at Taste of Compassion. Under Quita's stewardship, Humane Alliance has become a national leader in spay/neuter programs and initiatives. We wish you many happy miles in your new Subaru as you continue to make a positive difference in our community!
